A Message from John Denver!

We just never know where or when a message will come to us. Thinking about just that, the words of an obscure John Denver song came to mind. I listened to it this morning... and I'm blown away by the deeper message.  It's all about being present, on the path, listening to Deep Guidance:
Back in 1958 we drove an old V-8
And when it gone a hundred 'thou
We got out out pushed it a mile

CHORUS
We didn't know who we were
We didn't know what we did
We were just on the road

Headin' down from Canada
On a gravel road a mile from Montana
Then my Daddy read a sign
and took us in the wrong direction

I asked my Daddy where are we goin'
He said we'll just follow our nose
So I looked out the window
And dreamed I was a cowboy

CHORUS
We didn't know who we were
We didn't know what we did
We were just on the road

Met a girl in a truck café
Fell in love almost right away
Then the Mercury was ready to go
And I had to leave her

A11
Shooby Dooby Doo Shoo Doo
Shooby Dooby Doo Shoo Doo
Shoo Doo

Go home said the man in the moon go home
Go home said the man in the moon go home

Because it's gettin' sort of late
And I'll soon turn out my light
Go home said the man in the moon go home

CHORUS
We didn't know who we were
We didn't know what we did
We were just on the road
We didn't know who we were
We didn't know what we did
We were just on the road
A11
We were just a riding on...
We were just a riding on the road.

To Chronicle....

Serendipitous Coincidence?
Looking forward to starting this blog: Crone Chronicle, I searched the web dictionary for a deep definition of Chronicle. And there it was, in all it's splendor, the Word of the Day: ca·non·i·cal
1.pertaining to, established by, or conforming to a canon  or canons.
2.included in the canon  of the Bible.
3.authorized; recognized; accepted: canonical works.

Searing further I found this quote:
The Canon
Literature takes shape and life in the body, in the wombs of the mother tongue: always: and the Fathers of Culture get anxious about paternity. They start talking about legitimacy. They steal the baby. They ensure by every means that the artist, the writer, is male. This involves intellectual abortion by centuries of women artists, infanticide of works by women writers, and a whole medical corps of sterilizing critics working to purify the Canon, to reduce the subject matter and style of literature to something Ernest Hemingway could have understood.
Ursula K. Le Guin (b. 1929), U.S. author. Bryn Mawr commencement address, 1986. Dancing at the Edge of the World (1989).

and this quote from Pablo Picasso....
Art is not the application of a canon of beauty but what the instinct and the brain can conceive beyond any canon. When we love a woman we don't start measuring her limbs.

My thoughts.... I'm not sure where this journey will take us. There is much unseen, unexpressed, yet to be discovered and brought to light.

I do fully embrace my early years as Crone... here to help, guide, presence...
To make a difference,
To offer spiritual support.
To be simply empty,
At the same time full.
Basking in the Void.
Primordial Oneness.
